Wow, RL Stine was born in october? The same month as Halloween? I bet none of his greedy publishers remembered his birthday, were probably the only ones who have remembered him! Hes probably sitting at home, lonely, with nothing but a bag of cash to keep him company.Happy Birthday Stine!May you Retire In Peace.
Hey, I'd seen that picture before, but I never knew that Prince Khor-Ru had just unplugged his computer. The Internet can't help you now, R.L.!It strikes me that if they did a Fear Street version of that picture, it'd just be Stine surrounded by a bunch of brutal-looking teenagers, and would be much scarier for it.
The guy in the second picture loks exactly like an 80-year-old R.L. Without the mole, of course!
Aw, let's wish RL another 30 at least. Maybe he'll make some ghost writers write some more Fear Street books for us!
Hell, I hope so. Clichés and formulae rock.I'm not even being sarcastic.
This made me think. Did Fear Street ever have a series-wide tagline or anything? Like, um... *sigh* "Boo, Dude."
I was checking my recent transactions at paperbackswap.com and somebody with the last name Fiers requested a book from me. Alas, not a Fear Street book, but one of Rachel Caine's Morganville Vampires books. Still, I thought it was pretty cool.
@Anonymous from October 10, 2008 8:41 AM; Fear Street's tagline is: "Where your worst nightmares live...";-)
Happy b-day Stine!!!You are now approximately......................6969696969696969696969696969696969!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
