Another Dead Post

I realize this blog has become a lifeless wasteland and I am deeply ashamed.

In my defense, school has started which means a ton of reading (reading that does not include anything from the R.L. Stine collection), a fair amount of homework, and a teacher who likes us to call him "Wizard". Asshole. Anyway, "What Holly Heard" is STILL in the works, but I WILL finish it within the next few days and I WILL post the review ASAP. I know, I know,--I said that weeks ago and nothing happened. Well, this time I mean it. Seriously. Don't look at me like that.

  1. Don't worry, we understand. I know what schoolwork is like.

..."Wizard," though? Really? That sounds like something out of an R.L. Stine book on its own.

  2. Shame on you. Not for not updating, but for having the word "dead" in the post title and then a picture of an adorable puppy. I thought you were about to do a Stine-esque joke. :(

I get it about school and blogging. I try to journal every day and I can't even do that sometimes, and that's knowing that no one will read the entry. But please don't get guilty about not posting or you'll start to think of this site as a chore, and I've already had two other beloved bloggers quit this month for that reason. Whenever it's finished, can't wait for "What Holly Heard" as I remember that being an especially shitty book.

  4. Anon, yes, this dude says it makes him tremendously happy when people refer to him as that. I want to think he's joking, but it was a little TOO dead pan.

Oh Leila, I would never never never NEVER joke about dead puppies!

Sadako, that little cutie is just too sweet.

  5. Don't feel bad, Fear Street!! I started school a couple of weeks ago, and while I also contribute online, schoolwork is what matters, first and foremost. I adore your hilarious blog, and as long as its around, I don't care about weekly updates.

But seriously, LAWL. Your teacher sounds frigging HILARIOUS! I know I'm a dirty teenage girl pervert, but I can't help but smirk when I heard, "the wizard". Oh, and that puppy's cuter than sin itself.

  6. What Holly Heard was the last Fear Street book that I still had in my possession up until a few weeks ago. I'm looking forward to reading your take on it :)
